Energizing Education in Nigeria: EM-ONE's 3.3 MWp 2MWh Solar Microgrid with EaaS Model at the University of Abuja

Kano 1 MW solar power plant by EM-ONE within KEDCO’s service area represents a significant milestone in Nigeria’s journey towards sustainable energy and the first step in a larger 100 MWp development agreement aimed providing sustainable energy to up to 25 million Nigerians.

Nigeria’s Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and EM-ONE Energy Solutions (EM-ONE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop and deploy 350 megawatts of renewable energy projects across Nigeria.

The Sierra Leone Hospital Electrification Project, implemented by EM-ONE in partnership with SEforALL, addresses the energy access gap in health facilities across the country. The project delivers innovative sustainable electrification solutions that positively impact healthcare delivery for over 8.7 million people.

EM-ONE worked with UNICEF to develop a sustainable energy solution to provide reliable, renewable and affordable power to their Oxygen Plants-in-a-box in two major Nigerian hospitals as part of a major pilot project. By providing uninterrupted access to energy as well as oxygen therapy, this project has the potential to save countless lives and improve the quality of healthcare services in Nigeria.
